“Lympstone Legends” is a one-off, non-profit making, community event, with specially commissioned, carefully researched content, mainly provided by the Lympstone History Society, consisting of 16 original, dramatised songs interspersed with ‘vignettes’ of stories told by villagers, taking us through the passage of time, as individuals, events and buildings become alive. Our composer and lyricist Lin Marsh (linmarshmusic.co.uk) is a highly regarded, successful composer and choral director, working nationally and internationally with both children and adults. Jenny Moon is a well-known local historian and storyteller. The project is totally inclusive, with over 60 adults and children performing, accompanied by keyboard, clarinets, concertina and octave mandola!
